Meet our Teachers

Sophie Williams grew up in Spokane, Washington and attended college in Denver. After college, she completed a master’s degree in School Psychology in Portland, Oregon. She worked in the field for 4.5 years, during which time she served as a psychologist at an elementary and high school. Love then brought Sophie to Chile, where she started a family with her Chilean husband and their son, Benjamin, who was born in Chile. While there, Sophie taught private English lessons to primarily adult professionals. Sophie has always been passionate about working in education with both adults and children, and was delighted to find work at The School of Montessori. When she has time off, Sophie loves to travel, exercise, and spend time with her family.
